Cornelia Fort Airpark across the Cumberland River in East Nashville is a little hidden gem the locals know about. Named after Cornelia Fort, a female Tennessee native aviator who's claim to fame comes from happenstance of being in the skies over Pearl Harbor as the Japanese attacked in 1941. She would tragically perish two years later and become the first woman to die on active duty. This vintage T shirt design features her proudly.

The airport was built in the 1940's and operated up until 2011, after a once in a 1000 year flood destroyed much of the infrastructure to keep it operational. Today the city of Nashville has claimed the land and added its acreage to the Shelby Park tract. It's an amazing place to run, bike, skateboard, rollerblade, walk pets, and generally play at the facilities.

Every summer bluegrass bands and locals gather for the Cornelia Fort pickin' parties along with running races throughout the rest of the year. Pick up the shirt celebrating this one of a kind part of Nashville today!

Printed on super soft poly/cotton blend material.

We live near the Airpark and I bought this shirt as a Christmas gift for my wife. She loved it. The graphics are amazing and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Long story short, my dad worked at this airport for over 30 years while it was active before becoming a park. Love the shirt! The size and print are perfect! Can’t thank you enough!

This is a great tee. It’s so comfortable. Nice longer length. Graphics are fun and eye-catching. I’ll be wearing it with a white color underneath and a blazer over it to sort of dress it up. I’m typically not much of a T-shirt wearer but this one is so cool! Thanks for a great tee!
