Morgan Monroe State Forest between Martinsville and Bloomington Indiana is a real outdoor paradise. It's got a great combination of recreational activities, history and natural beauty. This place has got some great trails, like the Low Gap Trail, which offers a great loop hike featuring a rock shelter, and the Tecumseh Trail, which is a challenging and LONG trail that takes you to some of the most beautiful parts of the forest. And if you're into spooky history, you've got to check out  Stepp Cemetery, it's an old pioneer cemetery that's definitely worth a visit during the Halloween months.
